John Schutze, DDS

Dr. John Schutze has practiced dentistry since 1973 and has continued his training in pediatric care, dental malocclusion and TMJ discomfort, endodontic therapy, cosmetic reconstruction, implant reconstruction, patient relaxation, and periodontal therapy.

Dr. John has been awarded Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry after over 1500 hours of continuing education. His training includes a BA in biology from Seton Hall University, a DDS from University of Maryland, an externship from Johns Hopkins University Hospital, and a general dentistry internship from Michael Reese Hospital in Chicago.

Dr. Schutze has had leadership positions with the Fourth District Dental Society locally, the New York State Dental Association, and as a representative to the American Dental Association. He and his wife, Patricia, have had community involvements which include the American Cancer Society, Juvenile Diabetes Research Association, the Glens Falls Hospital Foundation, the Boy Scouts of America, the Glens Falls Rotary Club, and the Tri-County United Way.

They have two grown children and six young grandchildren. Dr. Schutze feels blessed to have a caring staff who strive to make each person’s dental experience as comfortable as possible. That staff includes his son Jonathan since 1999.
